The .day domain ending is now in the Sunrise phase!

The Google Registry announced the availability of the domain ending .day in the Sunrise period from 14 December 2021 04h00 (Paris) until 25 January 2022 03h59 (Paris). During this phase, .day domain name registrations are restricted to those with trademarks registered with TMCH (Trademark Clearinghouse) and on a first come, first served basis. The Sunrise price for this domain ending is actually lower ($13.27* in Grid A) than it will be in the GoLive phase ($15.55* per year in Grid A), so don’t wait!

Why register a .day domain name?

The .day domain ending invokes the celebration of a special day. Whether that’s for internal usage or for your customers, .day can become an excellent tool in your marketing team’s toolkit to promote big annual events: your company’s anniversary, open door days, end of year parties … there are many reasons to opt for a .day domain name, whether to create a single webpage or an entire dedicated website.

• The intended role of this domain ending to help promote events through dedicated websites makes it a good candidate for phishing campaigns that are particularly convincing
