The Kuwait Communication and Information Technology Regulatory Authority (CITRA) announces the launching for the .kw ccTLD. The extension has been available for registered trademarks and second-level domain holders since September 23, 2024.
This phase, which will last 6 months according to the CITRA press release, will enable not only government entities, but also registered trademark holders and holders of .com.kw, .net.kw and .org.kw domain names to apply for a domain name with the national extension .kw.
