For those who live what they love, now there’s .fans
Everyone likes something, some people love something, and others live their lives immersed in the fictional universe they love. The new gTLD that entered the Sunrise phase on Tuesday June 16, .fans, is all about the latter: this is the extension that celebrates fandom.
And we feel really great about this one because Gandi loves fans. Our fanbase is pretty devoted, and we flatter ourselves that we might someday inspire Gandi fan art. Maybe a steampunk Gandi logo? A Victorian Gandi logo? Our logo is practically begging for a monocle. A Gandi/Batman crossover? (Gandi vs. Batman?) Hipster Gandi logo? And what about Gandi fanfic … ?
And maybe you want to inspire your own fan art? How better to stoke the creative fires than with your own .fans domain, available for $378.19 for a one-year registration at A rates. Or, if you are a fan, if you can wait for Wednesday September 2, you can register one for $102.97 when .fans enters the GoLive phase.
Remember, the Sunrise phase is for TMCH-registered trademark holders. Contact our corporate support team if you have a TMCH-registered trademark (or would like help registering your existing trademark at TMCH) in order to register one of these new gTLDs during Sunrise. If you are not among the trademarked, you can still pre-register for the Landrush or GoLive phases. We’ll submit your order at the earliest possible moment – as soon as your chosen phase begins – for the best chance of success.
