WordCamp Taipei 2019 took place in Taipei, Taiwan on December 28, 2019.
As the name says, the conference focuses on the WordPress community and offers an opportunity for them to share their experiences. WordCamps are casual, locally-organized conferences covering everything related to WordPress, the free and open source personal publishing software that powers over 75 million sites on the web.

Theme Hierarchy for Beginners
Presented by Barry Lin
Whether applying the theme templates of WordPress or using the customized themes, first you should understand the structure of the theme before building a WordPress site. This presentation explained the hierarchy of WordPress themes and how to develop your own theme on WordPress.
Utilizing Keywords to Improve WordPress SEO
Presented by PG Tsai
PG has been running her site for four years. “When you start using and learning WordPress, you also start knowing SEO”, she said. In this presentation, she shared her way of managing SEO and via this conference, she proposed some different ways of operating for further discussion with attendees.
