Globalblock adds 26 extensions to its blocking solution

GlobalBlock has added 26 extensions to its range of services to protect its users’ trademarks as domain names. With more than 630 TLDs now accessible in a single operation for trademark holders, GlobalBlock’s blocking solution is now more than ever the most comprehensive and centralised on the market.

These additions include a ccTLD, .gu, the national extension for Guam, and related second-level domains. GlobalBlock is also adding generic extensions to its solution, including .top, one of the most commonly used gTLDs for phishing campaigns according to a recent study by Interisle Consultant Group. In addition, 19 web3 extensions will allow brands to block NFT domain names and protect themselves against cybersquatting in the blockchain ecosystem.

An increasingly comprehensive tool

This enhanced catalogue is now available to all users of GlobalBlock solutions, without the need to subscribe to an additional service. The company has already announced that it will be updating its solution between now and April 2025, which will provide even greater coverage of TLDs.

Don’t wait to adopt this blocking solution as part of your defensive strategy for your domain name portfolio. To find out more about this blocking solution and how it can help protect your brand, please contact your Account Manager or email us at corporatecontact@gandi.net.
