1. Anticipated Cybersquatting, a growing trend
Were you aware of the fact that there are those who carefully watch trademark registrations in order to grab up the corresponding domain names before the trademark owner does? Find out more on in our blog post about Anticipated Cybersquatting, a growing trend.
2. How to register a domain you’ll share a million times
A domain name isn’t just a series of numbers and letters you’ll only ever have to type. You’ll more than likely have to write it down, print it, speak it, scrawl it, and otherwise share it in a million different ways. Remember to think of all these different ways you’ll be sharing your domain when you pick one.
3. Changes in Gandi’s Private Domain Registration
With the European Union’s new General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in effect, Gandi’s “Private domain registration” service is changing. While private registration is now activated by defaut, it is now possible to deactivate it from your control panel. We explain how in our article on the subject.
4. DNSSEC in one click
On Gandi v5, you can now automatically activate DNSSEC on domains names. Learn more on our recent article about activating DNSSEC in one click.
5. Join the Gandi team!
Our Paris and Taipei teams are hiring! If you’d like to join the team, find out more here.
