For the past few months, Gandi customers have been targeted by several, continuously evolving phishing campaigns. These emails attempt to trick you into giving the attackers your login or your bank account information.

How can you identify it? What should you do? Read on to find out more.

Websites are compromised all the time. Sometimes the reason is to steal your data, but often it’s to use your server to send spam emails, share files illegally, or set up a malicious, temporary web server. Any of these activities can hurt your brand’s reputation.

Here are five steps that you can take to ensure that you’re well protected.

3. End of priority registration for .uk. What’s next?

Since 26 June 2019 at 4:00 AM UTC, the restrictions on registering a .uk domain name no longer apply. Any .uk domain names that aren’t registered by the cut-off date and time will be available for anyone to register and a first come, first served basis between 1 July and 5 July following a specific release process. What’s next?

4. Open letter on price increases

As you know, the mutual trust and respect we seek to build between Gandi and our customers has always been one of the pillars of our business. This Fall, all registrars will be impacted. Here’s Gandi’s position, as expressed by Gandi’s CEO Stephan Ramoin in a recent open letter.

5. Promo roundup

Rounding out this month’s newsletter we’re rounding up the promos this month. First, we’re celebrating Taiwan with a promo on both .tw and .taipei. Beyond Taipei, .asia is also on promo, which has been extended until the end of July. A flash promo is currently ongoing for .store until mid-month.
