.コム, Japanese for .com, enters Sunrise
.コム (.xn--tckwe) is the IDN (Internationalized Domain Name) for .COM in Japanese. Now, .コム is in Sunrise phase and could be registered for US$ 224.83 for the first year (at A rates). Starting February 1 to April 3, 2016, there’s a “Godfathering” period when current owners of a .com second-level domain name will be able to register the perfect match of their domain name in .コム. Then, from April 4 to May 1, 2016, .コム will be in Landrush phase. Domains will be available for US$224.83 per year. Starting May 2, .コム will enter the GoLive phase and will be available for US$16.79 (general launch).
