O Canada! Get a .CA domain 40% off, in C$
On July 1, Canada celebrates Canada Day and just in time for the celebration, Gandi is now proud to accept Canadian Dollars.
And you know what? A lot of times, Canada really gets short shrift. It gets reduced to moose, loons, mounties, and hosers in flannel shirts and parkas. Or the US’s hockey-playing, French-speaking, snow-covered younger brother.
We think it’s time Canada gets the recognition it deserves, though. For example, no cows in Canada receive artificial hormones. That’s something to be proud of. A Canadian invented Hawaiian pizza (which is actually a brilliant idea, even though it gets picked on). Canada produced Captain Kirk, ghostbuster Dan Ackroyd, Céline Dion‘s ongoing heart and the infinitely meme-able Ryan Gosling. Canadians are the second-happiest people in the world. And we want to make them even happier, which is why we are proud to now accept payments in Canadian dollars.
Along with our customer care team available in French and English on Canada timezone since 2014, and our accreditation with .CA registry in 2012, we decided to celebrate in two ways:
First, we have decreased .CA price, from C$20.8 to C$17.99 for domain name creation and renew and from C$16.9 to C$14.61 for transfer in.
Second, we’re offering an exclusive promo on .CA domains. They’ll be 40% off starting June 16, 2016 until July 31, 2016. That means they’ll be $10.79 per year in Canadian Dollars, which you can use now without having to convert currencies.
Do you love .ca?
