Labas! In case you didn’t know it, today, February 16, is the 100th anniversary of the restored Lithuania. On this date in 1918, twenty members fo the Council of Lithuania signed the Act of Independence of Lithuania, reestablishing Lithuania’s independence following more than a hundred years of control by Imperial Russia and German occupation in World War I.
