On 1 October 2019, at 17:00 UTC, Donuts modified the standard pricing for 225 extensions of its portfolio.
Over the past three months, a promotion on some of these extensions has enabled Gandi users to renew their domain name registration at a preferential rate.
All registrars are impacted and you will see this rate increase with each competitor. Such increases are not in your interest, and that is why it is not in our interest either. But, like any company, Gandi must be economically viable by ensuring a modest margin that allows to recuperate the rise in price for us. There will be no impact on premium domain levels at this time.
