Every ending is a new beginning and that’s the spirit of a lot of the updates we have this month.

First off, you can try your own new beginning with a Gandi v5 demo account. Next, it’s a new era for .uk as the priority registration period ends. Our team in San Francisco moved out of our old office and into a new one, and CaliOpen is now in Beta!

1. End of priority registration on .uk. What’s next?

The end of the five year priority registration period for .uk is in sight. Domain names for which a priority registration right exists that have not yet been registered by the end of the priority registration period will become available to anyone to register between July 1 and July 5, 2019 by a specific release process. We wanted to respond to the many questions people have and this month we clarified the steps to come.

2. A new office for Gandi US

For the past four years, Gandi US has been located at 121 Second Street in the Financial District in San Francisco but this month, that’s changed. We’ve moved out of our digs on Second Street and into new ones on California Street. Read about the move.

3. Test the Beta version of CaliOpen

CaliOpen aims to bring together in a single interface all private messages from various apps (Twitter, Facebook), e-mail, direct messages, and SMS in one interface.

4. Promo roundup!
