Learn to code with Django Girls Paris
Come learn how to code thanks to women-only workshops run by Django Girls!
Whats Django Girls?
Django Girls is an international, non-profit organization and a community that lets women participate in free workshops in a friendly environment that provide tools, resources, and support. Organized in more than 96 countries and 523 cities, thousands of women have already learned to code thanks to Django, the Python framework on which many sites and applications like Instagram and Pinterest are based.
Gandi—Django Girls Paris’s partner
As strong supporters of Open Source solutions and ourselves users of Python, Gandi sought to support Django Girls Paris in order to promote women in tech and encourage more women in development roles. This was also the motivation of Sonia Edouardoury at the Django Girls Paris initiative. Persuaded that it’s important that more women take up careers in technology, she became the organizer and found in the Django community an echo of her activist work.
Initially planned to take place at Gandi’s Paris office, the program will ultimately take place online in order to accommodate the current situation. Django Girls Paris and Birmingham have also merged, and no less than 50 participants will meet online, supported by 12 coaches in the following program:
