The registry ShortDot recently announced the upcoming availability of .sbs in the Sunrise phase from May 6, 2021 at 7:00 AM Pacific (14:00 UTC) until June 7, 2021 at 7:00 AM Pacific (14:00 UTC). During this period, .sbs domain names will only be available to owners of trademarks registered with TMCH on a first-come, first-served basis for $758.28*. Pre-registrations are already open!
Why register a .sbs domain name?
An abbreviation for “side by side,” .sbs is oriented towards businesses that invest alongside communities and work towards social and financial inclusion.
No registration restriction has been set by the registry: once the Sunrise period is over, .sbs domain names will be open to everyone at the very attractive price of $11.75* per year.
ShortDot, the .sbs registry, will also be donating a portion of the proceeds from each .sbs domain registration to a non-profit organization.
