What are the principles of a trustworthy internet?
Europe, the United States, and other partners have jointly published a declaration for the future of the internet: the internet should be free, interoperable, and respect human rights. This is essentially a political declaration, without legal constraints for the European Union, its member states, or the US. Let’s hope that future actions are in accordance with this declaration.
RocketChat x Matrix: for an open and decentralized network
The RocketChat project will use the Matrix protocol for implementing federation of RocketChat instances. Gandi also uses a private instance of Matrix for our internal instant messaging, so we were glad to learn about this synergy which will certainly have consequences for the Matrix ecosystem.

What’s new on Gandi VPS?
Version 2.1.0 of the Gandi Terraform provider has been published. This version adds new features and corrects several problems.
Because one good thing follows another, we also added Ubuntu 22.04 LTS, aka Jammy Jellyfish, as the 6th image supported by our GandiCloud VPS product. For this LTS (Long Term Support) version, Ubuntu provides maintenance updates for the next 5 years, until April 2027.
