Gandi Roundcube webmail incident
Today, at 3:48 AM Pacific (11:48 UTC), our technical team detected a problem with sending emails with an attachment from our Roundcube webmail interface.
As a result of this problem, any e-mails sent from the Roundcube webmail interface with a file attached between 5:00 PM Pacific on March 6 (or 1:00 AM March 7 UTC) and 5:00 AM Pacific March 7 (1:27 PM UTC), were delivered to their recipients, but without the attached files.
To ensure that your files are sent, we recommend that you re-send any email that might have been impacted by this problem.
Here’s how:
- Log into the RoundCube interface with your usual logins (email address + password)
- Go to the “Sent” folder on the webmail interface
- Select the messages in question, and click on the “Reply to list or to sender and all recipients” button (double arrow),
- Attach the file(s) to the email again, and send the email.
The problem was a side-effect of maintenance performed on our Roundcube webmail interface between 4:00 PM Pacific on March 6 (midnight March 7 UTC) and 6:00 PM Pacific (2:00 AM March 7 UTC) as previously reported on our status page.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
The Gandi Team
